Sr Systems Administrator

We are seeking a Sr. Systems Administrator for a long term contract assignment working on our W2 from anywhere in the US maintaining servers and networks, troubleshooting and recommending optimizations to the Micro Focus environment for our Huntsville, Texas based client.

In this position you must be able to:

*              Provide leadership and guidance to others when working with the Customer;

*              Understand the Customer's industry and is familiar with related industries;

*              Handles diverse, complex assignments concurrently;

*              Recommend appropriate technology for project tool selection.

*              Lead and develop technical and business systems related activities of major significance to the Customer;

*              Assist in the business proposal process;

*              Develop principles and concepts and innovative solutions for the Customer enterprise;

*              Develop/maintain depth and breadth across lines of business;

*              Regularly interact with senior management/major Customer;

*              Set technical direction for the project/application;

*              Provide program/project leadership for Customer solutions;

*              Engage in business development;

*              Inform Customer about emerging technologies and business implications based on the project and their overall business;

Requirements

*              Micro Focus administration .

Preferred

*              Expertise in Micro Focus 7 and above in Windows environment preferred.

*              Microsoft Azure Cloud experience preferred.

*              Leadership abilities, collaboration, and clear communication skills preferred.

*              Powershell scripting, troubleshooting, and active directory skills preferred.

*              Understanding of Microsoft SQL is preferred.

*              Knowledge of 3270 applications is preferred.
