We are seeking a skilled Sr. Business Analyst for a long term contract assignment working remotely from anywhere in Texas. You must be able to play the leading role conducting enterprise business analysis, managing stakeholders, deconstructing new system and business operations vision, reviewing policies, guiding and defining requirements, making technical, process workflow and policy recommendations, communicating with multiple business programs and development teams. You must have the ability to see the big picture integrations and workflows across multiple projects and business program areas and manage individual tasks and details to drive solutions. You will be tasked with providing business analysis, policy analysis, process analysis, problem solving and technology agnostic solution recommendations.
Required Skills:
1. Top-Down Strategic Thinking, problem solving and critical thinking to develop new systems, workflows and business processes across multiple systems and business programs.
2. Ability to conduct working sessions with Directors / C-level audience to define high level vision and break down into high level strategic plan and roadmap of requirements.
3. Experience summarizing vision sessions and deconstructing the vision to identify new needs and evaluate workflow discrepancies and issues. Skilled in completing analysis drawn from the findings, along with recommendations and roadmap for improvements. Ability to demonstrate logical reasoning for why the recommendations are made and how the recommendations are based on the analysis.
4. Analysis skills: process workflow inefficiencies and inaccuracies, compare/contrast, gap analysis, root cause analysis, risk analysis to define and document As-Is processes and system functionality and evaluate options for more effective To-Be solutions.

6. Facilitate sessions with stakeholders to gather information about processes and concepts. Possess the ability to perform research and do system and process analysis homework to ask poignant questions to fill in missing information to put a puzzle of information together without knowing all details to understand new concepts.
7. Ability to understand the concept of person / patient record management constructs and common issues around uniquely identifying a person and avoiding duplicate instances of that person in an information system.
8. Ability to understand system and process integration and interoperability concepts.
