Sr. Project Manager with Public Sector

We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager for a hybrid assignment working with our Austin, Texas client. This position requires that you are local to the Austin, Texas area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall assessment of Client's data reporting infrastructure and tools
• Conduct stakeholder interviews across business units to understand current state and requirements
• Create detailed documentation of findings and recommendations and roadmaps
• Develop As Is and To Be documentation, diagrams, workflows, role and responsibilities matrices
• Present recommendations and strategies to executive stakeholders
• Coordinate with technical lead to ensure alignment of business and technical requirements
• Identify risks, issues and mitigation strategies
• Provide strategic guidance on data governance and security requirements
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project objectives

Requirements:

• 10 years of project management experience with focus on data/analytics assessments and implementations
• Proven experience with assessments, feasibility studies, business and technical recommendations, strategic roadmaps, and actionable plans.
• Proven track record leading enterprise data strategy and analytics projects
• Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and facilitating requirements gathering sessions
• Strong background in data governance, data architecture, and analytics platforms
• Previous consulting experience with demonstrated client relationship management skills
• Experience creating detailed project plans, managing teams and projects.
• Public sector experience, particularly city/county IT projects preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
