We are seeking a GenAI Program Manager for a hybrid assignment working 2 days/wk on-site with our Sacramento Based client. In this role you will oversee the entire GenAI implementation program, coordinating activities across different teams and stakeholders. This senior-level position requires a blend of project management expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute complex GenAI implementation programs
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate activities across different teams and stakeholders
- Manage risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Report project progress to senior management
- Drive client satisfaction through effective communication and solution delivery
- Identify and propose process improvements and automation opportunities
- Engage with executives to drive value-based solution discussions
- Contribute to business development efforts and proposal creation
- Demonstrate thought leadership in GenAI implementation and team integration
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in program management, with at least 5 years focus on technology implementation projects
- 5 years in consulting or senior leadership roles
- Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts
- Proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale technology solutions using industry best practices
- Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement
- Expertise in risk management and mitigation strategies
- Strong executive presentation and communication skills
- PMP or similar project management certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in AI or machine learning implementations
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AI/ML certifications, Agile methodologies)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Multi-domain project experience solving complex organizational challenges
- Proven consulting experience with a focus on client engagement
